A new book by award winning cinematographer Franz Pagot, DoP on A Reason to Leave, has just been launched. Entitled ‘Immersive 3-D: The secrets of beautiful stereo cinematography’ the book is now available from Amazon. All proceeds will go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London and the Meyer Hospital for Childen with Rare Diseases in Florence.
The book provides an insight into the intricacies of stereo filmmaking and Franz shares the experience he has gained during his career. The chapter on sound was contributed by Oscar Winner (Slumdog Millionaire) sound designer Resul Pookutty.
Franz has filmed all over the world in all sorts of formats both film and digital and is a highly qualified director of photography and underwater cameraman. He has won several industry awards including the New York Film Festival and Can.
